First Light Couriers Pty Ltd (fully B.E.E compliant) was first established in April 2004 under the directorship of Craig Griffiths and Kevin McKinney. With our client base of over 900, we believe in a personlised experience with our team. Our new ‘track and trace’ system allows our clients to track the arrival of their anticipated parcel.
We provide a variety of services, both domestically and internationally, for our clients. Our services are delivered by uniformed and trained delivery professionals and include a wide range of pick-up and delivery services.

Sea Freight
This is an efficient and cost-effective Sea Freight service. For further assistance or quotations, please contact your local FLC office.

Door to Door
This service is also for your heavier, bulkier consignments but the customer does not require a delivery from FLC. Door to Airport consignments are sent to the airport of destination only and the consignee is to arrange clearance and delivery. We would still require the necessary documentation for customs purposes.

International Parcels
This is a global door to door courier service for all your time sensitive parcels (non documents). Non-Documents are defined as anything that does not qualify as documents, such as spares, samples, photographs, X-Rays, DVD’s, cd’s etc. All non-documents require customs documentation. Please note that delays may occur with non-document consignments, due to customs clearance procedures.

Through our global network, we are able to offer low cost shipping, airfreight and customs clearance. For further assistance or quotations, please contact your local FLC office.

International Airfreight
For your heavier, bulkier consignments, this service offers a door to door delivery service around the world. Please note that this service also requires customs documentation and delays may also occur due to customs clearance procedures.

International Documents
This is a global door to door courier service for all your time sensitive documentation. These consignments include items such as memos, reports, letters, plans etc. The documents do not require an invoice as they have no commercial value.

Saturday Service
A surcharge on your Overnight Express Rate will apply for collection or delivery between 07h00 and 13h00 on Saturdays. This surcharge is also applicable for attempted deliveries made where there is no recipient.

Overnight Road Express
Door-to-door or depot-to-depot between Cape Town and Johannesburg. Freight is delivered by close of business the following day. Alternatively it may be available for collection at the depot from 11.00 am onwards. This is a cost effective way of transporting your weighty goods.

Dawn Express
This service provides you with a door-to-door collection and delivery for your time-sensitive goods by 09h00 the following working day to all major centers in South Africa.

For your time-sensitive consignments, this service offers a door-to-door collection and delivery by 10h30 the following working day to all major centres in South Africa.

After Hours/Public Holidays
Our business hours are 07h00 to 18h00, Monday to Friday, and a surcharge is applied for all collections or deliveries outside of these times.

Road Freight
Providing you with delivery to all major centres within 2 – 3 days and to all regional areas within 3-5 days. Outlying areas could be subject to transit delays depending on final destination.
